Why Server Performance Matters

Server configuration directly impacts how fast your pages load. HTTP/2, compression, and proper caching can dramatically reduce load times and improve user experience.

HTTP/2 & HTTP/3

HTTP/2 enables multiplexing (multiple requests over one connection), header compression, and server push. HTTP/3 (QUIC) further improves performance especially on mobile networks with its UDP-based transport.

Compression (Gzip & Brotli)

Time to First Byte (TTFB)

TTFB measures server response time - how long until the first byte of data arrives. A fast TTFB (under 200ms) indicates good server performance. Slow TTFB can be caused by server-side processing, database queries, or network latency.

Caching Headers
